British Airways has launched a Bermuda seat sale that will allow passengers to make a roundtrip to London for total fares from $902.The sale is applicable to Island residents travelling to the UK between March 1 and August 31 this year and different fares are quoted for winter, spring and summer seasons. Bookings must be made by March 18 to be eligible.World Traveller (economy) roundtrip fares from Bermuda to London for the winter period (March 1-April 3) will begin at $455. Taxes and fees are $447 which make the total cost $902 for a mid-week fare. For weekends there is an additional cost of $60.These fares are quoted for the winter season and rise for the spring and summer seasons. Spring fares (April 4-May 22) begin at $600 before tax. Summer sale fares (May 23-August 31) begin at $725 before tax. World Traveller Plus is also included in this sale with mid-week winter fares beginning at $855 before tax and rise according to the spring and summer dates.BA’s Bermuda manager Marianne Wilcox said: “This is a good time to travel to the UK and we expect this sale to be very popular with the Royal Wedding in April and football, cricket and sporting events in full swing.“Families wishing to travel will be especially happy to see that this offer runs right through the summer holidays. It is important to note that this is just for travel originating in Bermuda.“These fares require a seven-day advance purchase and are non-refundable. There is a minimum stay of a Saturday night and changes can be made for a cost of $275. Normal fare rules apply.”BA is currently operating its winter schedule of five weekly flights.
