Appleby has announced the promotion of lawyer Joelina Redden to the position of counsel.The announcement follows the promotion of one partner and four lawyers to the position of counsel earlier this month.Ms Redden is a member of Appleby’s insurance team and is based in the Bermuda office.She practices corporate and commercial law, specialising in providing legal advice on re/insurance matters, including regulatory and transactional advice, segregated account structures, alternative risk transfer and insurance linked security vehicles, public and private offerings, restructurings, acquisitions and amalgamations.Shaun Morris, office managing partner, said: “We are pleased to announce the promotion of Joelina to the position of counsel.“Her advancement, along with the others we have announced this month, supports our continued efforts to grow our business and reinforce our leading position as best placed to service our clients’ needs across the world.”
