Shares of Bank of Butterfield stock jumped 7.14 percent ($0.10) in trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday. The stock closed at $1.50 a share with 10,310 shares trading. Shares of Ascendant Group also traded, gaining 0.43 percent ($0.05). 2,100 shares changed hands to close at $11.55 a piece. Overall, the BSX closed up 47.64 points (4.13 percent) at 1,200.90.
