Demo of payroll system solution at Chamber

Lunch event: Chamber of Commerce is hosting a lunch and learn demo session of a Bermuda-specific payroll application on Wednesday

Bermuda businesses are being given the chance to see a free demonstration of an online Bermuda payroll system that automates the new changes to the payroll tax structure introduced by the Bermuda Government.

A lunch and learn demo session will be held at the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, on Point Pleasant Road, on Wednesday.

Bermudian company The Certus Group and CloudSuitePro are behind the new offering that is said to have automated the new payroll rules to work with salaried and hourly employees, whether they are paid weekly, biweekly, monthly or semi-monthly, and with commissions.

The Bermuda-specific payroll application is hosted by CloudSuitePro.com on the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Platform.

The application has additional interactive features, including employee calendars to manage such things as sick leave, absences, overtime and vacation time.

The system is said to easily integrate with any accounting system. It runs an exception report highlighting any changes from previous payroll runs, allowing companies to hone discrepancies.

Companies can have the payroll solution without the need to purchase any hardware or software.

Representatives of The Certus Group, which is headquartered in Mill Creek Road, Pembroke, will present the system and give a demonstration at the Chamber event, which is from 12.30pm to 2pm.

Lunch is $30 for members and $40 for non-members. There are a few spaces left for those who wish to register.
