PwC captive gives $25,000 to emergency fund
L&F Indemnity Ltd, the Bermudian-based captive insurance company for the PricewaterhouseCoopers network of firms, has announced the donation of $25,000 to the Bermuda Covid-19 Emergency Fund.
The fund was created by the Bermuda Community Foundation to respond to urgent needs in the community due to the impact of the global pandemic on the island.
Greg Galeaz, CEO and director of L&F, said: “We want to do what we can to support the local community during this difficult time and hope that our donation can help to bring immediate support to those struggling with the impact.”
Andrew Elliott, CFO and director of L&F, said: “The L&F corporate charitable philosophy is to focus its responsibility agenda primarily on community engagement.
“The goal is to make a difference in the local community where we work by sharing our time, resources and knowledge.
“In this period of urgent need, we believe the best way to deploy funds is through the coordinated efforts of the BCF. L&F and its staff are, therefore, pleased to partner with the BCF and the Covid-19 Emergency Fund, to do our part in assisting our fellow residents.”
