On June 29, 2001, Edward Ishmael King Jr. and Rebecca Jane Collins were married at Dunstable Registry Office in Bedfordshire, UK. Eric Schatz, a high school friend of the groom acted as best man whilst Clara Collins and Karen King, the bride and groom's sisters respectively, acted as witnesses.

The ceremony was followed by a reception at Hunter's Lodge in Whipsnade. Those attending the ceremony from Bermuda included the groom's mother Helen King and also his aunts Lorraine Lightbourne and Gwyneth Rawlins.

The bride and groom are presently residing in London.
