The Delfonics to see in the New Year

Sixties singing group The Delfonics will be playing a New Year's Eve gig at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

The group still features original leader William Hart. The Delfonics will be supported by Bermuda singers The Ufonics. Doors open at nine p.m. and the show starts at 10 p.m.

For their $85 revellers will also enjoy dance band the Howard Lee trio, a disco and will be given noisemakers and balloons for the midnight hour.

Organiser Choy Aming said: "People can dance `til three a.m."

And the same team of Mr. Aming, Everett Shiell and Kevin Smith have booked pop legends The Temptations for the same venue for Valentine's Day while Earth, Wind and Fire are set to play the national stadium on June 21.
