‘The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne’ returns to BUEI screens Saturday
The “Life and Crimes of Doris Payne” is scheduled to screen for a forth time at The Bermuda Documentary Film Festival.
After premiering to a sold out audience during the film festival earlier this month, the film was shown another two times at the weekend due to popular demand.
The film will screen once more in the TradeWinds Auditorium of the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Saturday (November 2) at 3pm.
The film tells the story of Doris Payne, a glamorous and charismatic 82-year-old international jewel thief, who uncovers the secrets of her trade and what drove her to a 60-year life of crime.
Ms Payne retraces her steps — Paris, Monte Carlo, Tokyo, Miami, New York — telling how she managed to jet-set her way into any Cartier or Tiffany's, and emerge with a small fortune.
Tickets are available at the Oceans Gift Shop, BUEI, or by calling 294-0204.
