“Jesus is the reason for the season He lives in our heart”My first greetings as the Presiding Elder of the AME Churches in Bermuda: To all of Bermuda during this Advent Season: Love, Peace and Joy belong to you.More than 2000 years ago, into the world, God sent his Son they called him Jesus he came to love, heal and forgive. He lived and died to buy our pardon, an empty grave is there to prove our Savior lives. And because He lives, we can face tomorrow, because He lives all fear is gone, because we know He holds the future, and no matter what happens on this Island, life is worth living because Jesus was born and still lives for such a time as this.We have been thru a year of trials and tribulations, but best of all our God has been with us. And the Christmas story about the Birth of Jesus is an anxious word ever true, changing me and changing you, and as we read his word, and listen intently as the spirit speaks to us with open hearts, let the ancient word impart.Bermuda We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not onto your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths during this holiday and all thru the New Year.
