PHC coach Lightbourne slapped with fine by BFA
PHC coach Kyle Lightbourne and two of his players have been slapped with a range of punishments for bringing the game into disrepute.Lightbourne has been given a four match suspension and fined $150 after being found guilty by Bermuda Football Association's (BFA) disciplinary committee for using foul and abusive language towards at official during Zebras' Dudley Eve match against Dandy Town in October.Zebras players Jevon Sealey and Cecoy Robinson have also landed themselves in hot water for committed a number offences during the same match.Sealey has been suspended for two matches and put six-month's probation for making an obscene gesture towards an official, while Robinson has been banned for four games for swearing at an official.The BFA also handed out sanctions to North Village's Ralph Bean, Somerset Eagles' Troy Tucker, X'Roads' Tarik Smith and Prospect United's Deshaun Berkeley.Bean will miss two matches and put on six month's probation for using foul and abusive language towards a referee during Village's Premier Division match against Devonshire Cougars in October.Bermuda Under-20's midfielder Tucker has also been banned for two games and put on a year-long probation for swearing at a referee during Eagles' Dudley Eve game against Devonshire Cougars in October.Smith will miss two games and put on six month's probation for striking a player during United's First Division match against Prospect in October, while Berkeley has been punished with a four match ban and placed on a year's probation for assaulting a MR Onions player during a league match in March.
