The bulky waste shear at Tynes Bay will close for maintenance from January 24 to February 14.Heavy commercial waste such as furniture and pallets will not be accepted at the plant during this time.Bulky house waste can still be dropped off, but residents have been asked to bring as little as possible.Residents are encouraged to drop off as much bulky waste as they can before the closure date to prevent a backlog.
