Car flips over in crashTwo men were injured when their car flipped over an embankment on Harrington Sound Road.A police spokesman said: “Around 10.30pm on Sunday police attended a reported single vehicle collision on Harrington Sound Road in Smith's near the junction with Lolly's Well Road.“It appears that a car was travelling when the driver lost control. As a result, the vehicle went over an embankment and overturned.”According to the spokesman, the driver of the car, a 32-year-old Smith's man, was taken to hospital following the accident, but the passenger, a 26-year-old from Warwick, declined medical treatment. Damage to the car was described as “extensive.”In total 13 vehicle collisions were reported over the weekend, with five resulting in injury.Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact Pc Darren Harvey at 295-0011.Sudden death of man, 60Police on Sunday responded to a report of the sudden death of a 60-year-old at a Pembroke home.According to a Police spokesman the body of a man was found inside a Northlands Lane residence.Inquiries into the death are underway and an autopsy is expected to be performed.
