Breaking News: Govt. appoints managing director of Washington DC office

Government today named Omar S. McIntosh as the managing director of Bermuda’s Washington DC office.
Premier Ewart Brown made the announcement in a press release issued this evening.
Mr. McIntosh is to be responsible for the office’s “strategic plan, developing partnerships with US corporations and managing relationships with Washington decision makers”.
He holds a BSc in civil engineering from the Mitchell School of Engineering at Morgan State University and an MBA from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University.
The office, which sits seven blocks from Capitol Hill, was officially opened last September.
