Breaking news: Police seize 30 cannabis plants in St. George's

Thirty cannabis plants were seized from land neighbouring St. George’s Golf Course, Police announced today.

The plants were nabbed yesterday afternoon by the Eastern Criminal Investigation Unit and the Eastern Community Action Team.

Inspector Andy Morgan, second in command of the Eastern area said: “Clearly a small minority remain intent on cultivating and dealing in large quantities of controlled substances.

“We actively encourage members of the public to report any suspicious activity to us in confidence at Southside Police Station on 293-2222 and thank the community for their assistance in this case."
