The 21-year-old victim of a shooting in Pembroke has been released from hospital.

A spokesperson for King Edward VII Memorial Hospital confirmed that the man was released yesterday evening.

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting which took place at about 4 p.m. on Saturday on The Glebe Road, Pembroke.

A 29-year-old man and a 30-year old man, both from Pembroke, today remained in Police custody.

The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his upper-torso and was reportedly recovering from surgery on a general ward before being released.
