Canadians charged with coke importation

Two Canadians were remanded into custody after they were indictably charged in Magistrates Court yesterday for allegedly importing cocaine estimated to be worth more than $670,400.
Emmanuel Omogham, 39, and Brenetta Nedd, 23, both of Bramton, Ontario were not required to enter a plea to three counts of conspiring with others not before the courts to import cocaine, importing the 215.78 grams of cocaine and possessing the drug with intent to supply on June 4.
The pair were arrested in St. George's on that day. Crown counsel Paula Tyndale prosecuted before Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner who set down the pair's next appearance for June 17.
