Two men were hurt as they ran away from the path of the oncoming truck. A 40-year-old Devonshire man bruised his left knee after he tripped over a low wall and a 44-year-old Pembroke man suffered bruised ribs after he collided with a fire hydrant .
Both men were treated at the scene by St. John's Ambulance personnel.
