Just eight weeks after becoming the first ex-union leader ever to head Ministry of Labour, Home Affairs and Public Safety, Derrick Burgess had some of his powers cut yesterday.

He lost the Public Safety aspect to David Burch as he now heads the newly-titled Labour and Immigration Ministry. It means the public won't see if Mr. Burgess would have taken a predicted tough line on law and order.
