Mr. Anderson parted company with DeFontes Broadcasting after three months running his Mix 106 FM music programme.

This week he told how he had failed to see eye to eye with his former employers.

It ended with a bust-up -- and Mr. Anderson being forced to quit.

"I did not get the support I expected,'' said Mr. Anderson.

He claimed VSB chiefs had not sold the programme to the public.

And he said they had tried to censor some songs, fearing their sexual content would offend.

Mr. Anderson, of Railway Trail, Sandys, said Mix 106 FM -- still airing -- had been his brainchild.

It contained an original mixture of different music, including pop, rock, urban dance, and reggae, he said.

It had taken some tome to convince VSB to air the format.

But Mr. Anderson, who describes himself as a "marketing innovator'', believed the programme had been a hit when he ran it from May 24 to August 31.

DeFontes Broadcasting yesterday described the departure of Mr. Anderson as an internal matter.

The services of his company, Wave Marketing Ltd, were not required any longer, a spokesman said.
