fined a total of $450 in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Wendell A. Darrell, of North Shore Road, pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine, drug equipment, and drug equipment used for preparation of a controlled drug.

Insp. Peter Duffy told the court that on July 8 just before 5 p.m. Police went to Darrell's home with a search warrant.

"When they arrived at the house Police saw someone throw a blue plastic bag out of the window which landed on some rocks by the water,'' Insp. Duffy said.

"Police looked in the bag and saw that it contained white powder, scissors, broken glass and a drill bit.'' Insp Duffy added that when asked who threw the bag out the window, Darrell replied: "I did, and all that's in that bag is mine.'' The 0.05 grams of cocaine was 82 percent pure in free base form.
