and two friends was yesterday remanded in custody because a report on the accused is not ready.

Anthony Richardson, 23, of Pembroke, admitted a charge of sexual assault and three counts of armed robbery at an earlier appearance at Supreme Court.

But yesterday Chief Justice Austin Ward heard that a social inquiry report on Richardson was not ready.

Richardson pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman friend of Candian Senator Don Oliver at a house in Middle Road, Southampton, on August 12 last year.

He further admitted three counts of armed robbery involving the Senator, the woman and her husband.

Supreme Court heard in November that Richardson entered the house brandishing a knife and tied up and robbed the three.

The house is owned by Sen. Oliver's wife, Bermuda Telephone Company executive Linda Oliver.

Richardson sexually assaulted the woman visitor, who cannot be named, before escaping with more than $3000 in jewellery and cash.

Richardson was remanded in custody until the next sitting of Supreme Court on February 3.
