reduced prices as thieves continue to target Hamilton businesses and private homes in the wake of Christmas.

Police spokesman P.c. Gary Venning yesterday reported three more cases of breaking and entering -- among them two Hamilton stores.

Thieves took a large quantity of clothing including leather jackets, hockey jerseys and denim suits and an assortment of womens' suits and blouses after they raided a Union Street boutique on Tuesday night.

In a separate incident, thieves targeted an electronics store on Elliot Street over the Christmas period, taking stereo equipment, video recorders and CD players.

A visiting couple staying in a private residence in Tuckers Town reported a thief broke into their house on Wednesday evening.

The culprit made off with a waist pack containing a pair of prescription glasses and a wallet containing cash, credit cards and personal items.

The same evening, a resident of Middle Road in Paget reported she awoke to find a man in her room but the offender fled empty-handed.
