Spokesperson Evelyn James Barnett said the robbery took place outside the Woodbourne Chemist on Woodbourne Avenue, Pembroke.

A man was riding a bike when a cycle rode up alongside him, she said.

The man was pulled over to the side of Gorham Road and punched in the face.

Ms James Barnett said the culprit took the man's wallet from his pocket and attempted to flee.

But the man grabbed hold of the robber's jacket and struggled with him.
