Police yesterday said they were investigating the incident which occurred around 4 p.m. at Fort Hamilton on New Year's day.

A 66-year-old visitor, who was accompanied by his wife, reported that a man gripped him around the neck and put an object to his neck, demanding his money.

The victim handed over his wallet. And the offender removed the cash and threw the wallet at the victim's feet.

The victim and his wife were not physically harmed.
