Construction Company to build a new hot mix asphalt plant at its Coney Island Road quarry in Hamilton Parish.

President and manager of the company Mr. Adam Diel said the new plant, which will be capable of mixing both hot and cold asphalt, will replace an old plant which could only mix cold asphalt.

"We are also upgrading our existing filtration system so we can conform to environment regulations,'' Mr. Diel pointed out.

The DAB, meanwhile, has given in-principle approval for the St. John Ambulance Brigade to build a meeting room, garage and revised parking layout at Dunrossil House on Point Finger Road.
