A suitcase full of firearms and ammunition showed up at the Civil Air Terminal on Tuesday afternoon unattended.

Customs officers found the unclaimed suitcase in the Baggage Claims area around 4.30 p.m.

The items were turned over to Police and an investigation is underway to establish the owner, Police spokeswoman Sgt. Roseanda Jones said.

From initial inquiries Police believe the bag may have arrived into Bermuda by mistake, she added.

Last month, firearms were found on a private jet at the Airport.

Customs officers discovered them in filing cabinets on the jet which came from the US.

The firearms were confiscated.

And the matter is still under investigation.

REGGAE SUPERFEST IS POSTPONED ENT The `Reggae Superfest' concert which was due to be held in Dockyard this weekend has been postponed.

A spokesperson from Great Sounds Productions said that because one of the featured artists from the Superfest which includes Gregory Issacs, Freddie MacGregor and Yami Bolo unexpectedly performed at a concert last weekend they had no choice but to delay.

"We have decided that it would not be feasible to have this artist appear at our show less than a week later,'' the spokesperson said.

Anyone holding a ticket for the show can be refunded from Great Sound on Church Street.

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused, however this was a situation beyond our control and contrary to our agreement.'' TWO STUDENTS INVOLVED IN FIGHT CRM Police were called to the bus station Monday evening to prevent two students from fighting.

When they arrived, they saw the boys aged 16 and 17 arguing. "One of them was holding a broken bottle and the other had a crash helmet,'' a Police spokesperson said.

Friends of the boys intervened and injuries were prevented. The 17-year-old was arrested at the scene but was later released on bail while inquiries continue.
