Gregory Morgan Smith, 49, of Pembroke pleaded guilty to the charge in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Donald Grant said Smith was charged with drunk driving after his Mitsubishi Lancer collided with another vehicle on Union Street on December 13.

Smith's reply to the charge was: "I should have defogged my windscreen''.

Damage to the vehicles was minor, said Sgt. Grant.
