Calvin Eugene Johnston pleaded guilty to breaching the peace and unlawful assault when he appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Sgt. Earl Kirby, prosecuting, told the court that Police were summoned to Johnston's home on Upland Lane on Tuesday evening. He lived there with his sister.

The two were involved in an altercation which left her with bruises to the forehead. Johnston had also ripped off her T-shirt.

When Police arrived Johnston was sitting outside, said Sgt. Kirby. Officers arrested him for breaching the peace when he walked inside and began knocking baby bottles off a shelf.

The 45-year-old has previous convictions for similar offences.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis fined Johnston $400 and bound him over for six months.
