have given a lift to a person charged with an attempted armed robbery at a hotel.

Officers want to speak to the male driver of a four-door medium sized car who picked up a man of Portuguese descent at Paget traffic lights between 9.45 p.m. and 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27.

It is thought the driver took his passenger to Front Street, near the junction with King Street.

Police say they are also anxious to speak with another driver who picked up the same person at around 11 p.m. the same night on East Broadway, taking him to Paget.

Michael Bell, 40 and Herculano Arruda, 29, both of 1 Trews Apartment, Paget, have appeared in Magistrates' Court charged in connection with attempting to rob a middle-aged American couple at the White Sands Hotel on November 27.
