John Dale as Community and Media Relations spokesman.

Sgt. Dale, who filled the post left vacant in December, 1991, by former Chief Insp. Roger Sherratt, will be transferred to another Police department.

Meanwhile, the post of Assistant Commissioner of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has yet to be filled.

Applications from five senior officers are before the Public Service Commission.

And earlier this month, Police Commissioner Mr. Lennett (Lennie) Edwards said he expected the post to be filled before year end.
