He is an 18-year-old from Warwick, said Police spokeswoman Sgt. Roseanda Jones yesterday.

Two other young men from Warwick, aged 17 and 18, are already being questioned.

Police have renewed appeals for information over the raid which occurred shortly before 1 a.m.

Three youths battered barman Mr. Eric Easton over the head with a metal rod, and customer Mrs. Barbara Johnson was threatened with a knife.

The robbers made off with $1,023 from the till, and Mrs. Johnson's handbag containing around $250.
