Government figures show 10,459 arrived last week by air, 4,935 by cruise ship, and 33 through a combination of the two.

The total number of visitors this year is now 431,899 -- 10.8 percent up on 1992.

There has been a 9.6 percent jump over last year in air arrivals to 308,874.

And the rise in cruise ship passengers has gone up by 14.2 percent to 122,576.
