Boy, 16, and man shot and injured
Two people one a 16-year-old boy were taken to hospital last night after a shooting in Pembroke.
Police were called to Friswell's Hill just before 11 p.m. yesterday after reports of gunshots.
It is understood a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were shot. Unconfirmed reports suggest there were multiple gunshots.
Both victims were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, although their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
A Police spokesman said officers responded to gunshots in the area around 10.48 p.m. They found two injured men and the area was cordoned off by Police.
The double shooting comes less than 48 hours after Frederick Maybury was shot dead outside Woody's Sports Bar in Sandys on Monday. Mr. Maybury was the Island's sixth gun death this year. Last night's shooting was the 93rd reported firearms incident this year.
