Celebrating City Hall building's 50th year

City Hall is 50 years old
The Corporation of Hamilton will be celebrating its 50th anniversary of the opening of City Hall tomorrow.
The public is invited to attend the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. followed by an open house in the foyer.
Corporation of Hamilton Chief Operating Officer and Secretary, Ed Benevides, said: "The event on Thursday is open to members of the public. We urge everyone to stop by throughout the day. The Corporation of Hamilton staff members will be on hand to provide assistance and answer questions about the exhibition which will be on display.
"The 50th anniversary celebration will last throughout the year and a new exhibit will be erected in the foyer every other month."
