Until the end of the year, Bermudians can help the Sunshine League simply by filling up their gas tanks.

Until December 31, Esso will be donating 5 cents for every gallon of gas sold to the home for displaced youth.

Donation boxes will also be available inside the stations for those who want to give a little more.

Sunshine League board member Daina Casling said: "It's inspiring when a member of the corporate community takes a charitable lead in the manner Esso has. We can only begin to express our gratitude."

Last year Esso Stations raised more than $25,000 for the organisation, and President of Esso Bermuda Mark Fields said that he hopes to raise even more money in the coming years.
