Funeral tomorrow for road victim Earl Ingemann
The funeral of road-death victim Earl Ingemann will be held tomorrow.
Mr. Ingemann, a 21-year-old heart-transplant survivor, died after a New Year's Day car crash in St. George's.
His funeral will be held at the St. George's Seventh-day Adventist Church, Secretary Road, at 2.30 p.m. His mother, Wanda Ingemann-Ebbin, said all are welcome and colours may be worn.
Mr. Ingemann was already in poor health prior to the crash because his body was rejecting his donor heart. His mother has spoken of her belief that he may have survived if he'd had a stronger heart.
Mrs. Ingemann-Ebbin said she did not wish for the 31-year-old Sandys man who was driving the car to be prosecuted over the crash. He was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving, but later passed a breath-test.
As of yesterday, she said she had not heard any update on whether charges will be pressed.
