Married couple faces drug charges, man pleads guilty
A married couple appeared in Magistrates' Court yesterday to face charges of possession of cocaine and cannabis as well as drug equipment.
Jonathan Dill, 26, and Danielle Douglas, 21, who live together on Horseshoe Lane, Southampton, entered separate pleas on three counts of drug and drug equipment possession.
Dill pleaded guilty to all three counts of possessing 13.34 grams of cocaine, possessing 2.87 grams of cannabis resin and possessing drug equipment including scales and rolling papers on November 28, 2008.
Together the drugs have a street value of more than $4,200. Douglas pleaded not guilty to all three counts.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner granted bail in the amount of $10,000 to Douglas while Dill was remanded in custody until January 11 for sentencing.
