— The Bermuda Plan 2008 had 451 objections and representations to the Department of Planning with 806 specific objection issues
— 586 of those objections related to the zoning of land

— There are 14 base zones, nine development base zones and five conservation base zones with two conservation areas and four protection areas
— The plan provides 5,670 acres of land for residential development and 2,750 acres for other forms of development
— The airport development zone covers 675 acres of land
— The plan provides 4,850 acres of land as conservation zones such as mature reserves, parks, coastal reserves, open space reserves and recreation lands.
— 740 acres has been set as agricultural reserve and 1,000 acres as woodland reserve
— 330 acres is for nature reserve and 66 acres for parks.
