Police were called to an attempted burglary when a woman found a man inside her house.

The incident happened on Sunday and the woman told Police that she was downstairs, at her home on Cedar Hill, Warwick, watching television when she heard noises in an upstairs room.

She went to see what the noise was and found a man inside the house. The burglar escaped without taking anything.
