Rider breaks leg in road crash on North Shore Road

Accident: Rush hour traffic had to be diverted after the rider of a motorcycle had to be rushed to hospital with a broken leg when the was in collision with a car at the junction of North Shore and Black Watch Pass in Pembroke on Thursday afternoon.
A motorcyclist broke his leg in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday.He was thrown off his bike, over a car and into an SUV in the incident at the junction of Blackwatch Pass and North Shore Road, Pembroke, at 5.20 p.m.The 45-year-old victim, from Pembroke, had been travelling west along North Shore Road; the car was travelling north on Blackwatch Pass; the SUV was stationary.

The 45-year-old victim, from Pembroke, had been travelling west along North Shore Road; the car was travelling north on Blackwatch Pass; the SUV was stationary.

The 67-year-old Devonshire woman who was driving the car and the 67-year-old Smith's man in the SUV were not injured.

The bike and car were extensively damaged, while the SUV received minor damage.
