Truck driver arrested after crash
A truck driver was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving after his vehicle was in collision with two cars.
Police attended the accident at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Marsh Folly Road, in Pembroke, near the junction with St. Monica's Road.
"It appears that two cars were travelling east on Marsh Folly Road and a light truck was travelling in the opposite direction when the vehicles collided," said a Police spokesperson.
"The driver of the light truck, a 58-year-old Pembroke man, sustained an injury to his nose. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. The drivers of the two cars, a 37-year-old Warwick woman and a 52-year-old Pembroke man respectively, were not injured.
"The light truck received front end damage while the two cars received moderate damage to multiple areas and extensive front end damage respectively."
