The main show ring in the Botanical Gardens has closed to prepare the area for the Premier's Senior Citizens' Tea.

The event is scheduled for next Sunday, June 13.

Said a Government spokesperson yesterday: "The Department of Parks would like to advise the public that the main show ring at Botanical Garden will be closed to the general public from Monday, June 7, 2010 until Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

"Members of the public are asked to cooperate and abide by the signs and instructions given by staff."
