A Paget man shot yesterday afternoon has been released from hospital.

Police today confirmed the man was later treated for a gun shot wound to the leg at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

He was released that same day.

Officers have yet to name the victim of Saturday's shooting.

The 30-year-old was shot around 2.05 p.m. in the area of Somerset and Sound View roads in Sandys.

Police are asking for anyone who noticed anyone suspicious in the area of Somerset Road and Sound View Road in Sandys to call the main Police number on 295-0011, or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.
