The body of a 64-year-old man was found in a house in Lighthouse Lane, Southampton just before 7 p.m. last night.

Police said they had launched an investigation into the sudden death and had not yet ruled out foul play.

A spokesman said: “Police first responded and attended a scene at Lighthouse Lane in Southampton a few minutes before 7 p.m. this evening.

“Upon their arrival, it was noticed that a 64-year-old man’s lifeless body was found in the house.”
