Breaking News: Stab victim refuses to help Police

A 20-year-old stabbing victim refused to tell Police any details of the attack — and people who took him to hospital also refused to say what happened.

The victim, from Warwick, was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital early on Saturday — and Police officers happened to be there at the time.

According to a Police statement, the victim was not forthcoming about how he was injured and those who took him to the hospital declined to say what happened to him and left immediately.

Also on Saturday morning Police were called to the Bistro at the Beach, on Front Street, after a fight broke out between a group of men as they were leaving the bar.

Officers attended the area and used a deterrent spray but the men quickly left the scene.

Police are appealing to anyone with any information to contact them on 295-0011.
