A 43-year-old Devonshire woman appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with harbouring shooting suspect Omari Gordon.

Davina Ratteray pleaded not guilty to one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice and one count of obstructing justice by hiding Gordon from Police.

Gordon had been on the run from Police for 13 months after he was suspected to have shot at three Police officers in the Middle Town area of Pembroke on November 29, 2008.

Gordon was apprehended at a house in Sandys Parish early last month.

Rattery was granted bail with Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner adjourning the case until May 5.
