The St. George's Foundation has offered condolences to the family of Harry Wilken, who died suddenly last month.

Mr. Wilken was the treasurer of the Foundation for seven years.

Chairman Kenneth Snaith said: "Harry was an integral member of our executive and stood at our financial helm as we initiated our fund-raising programmes and worked on the restoration of the World Heritage Centre. His contributions to the Foundation are many and he often remarked that he enjoyed the 'bricks and mortar' aspects of our mandate.

"Harry Wilken was a man who had a full zest for life, a keen wit and contributed much to Bermuda. We will miss him greatly."

Mr. Wilken leaves his wife, Eileen.
