A 44-year- old Sandys man narrowly escaped being shot after two men on a motorcycle sped past, firing shots in Somerset last night.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at 9.50 P.M. outside the Steel City Clothing Store on Store Lane. While one man was rushed to the hospital, his injuries were only sustained by evasive actions and were superficial.

According to police the two suspects were wearing dark visors and riding towards Somerset when the shots were fired in the direction of three people standing outside the store.
