A Bermuda support group will be holding a rally today on the steps of City Hall in support of the victims of the Gaza attacks.

Guest speakers, including the Chairperson of the Human Rights Commission, Venous Memari, are scheduled to attend and there will be an open mic for the public to express their thoughts on the crisis in Gaza following the invasion by the Israeli army.

According to the BBC website fighting continued in Gaza yesterday, despite a United Nations Security Council demand for an immediate ceasefire.

The UN passed a resolution calling for a ceasefire, leading to the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.

The Bermuda Palestinian Support Group is encouraging everyone to come out between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and show their support and solidarity with the Palestinian people as they endure the 14th day of the Gaza conflict.
