SANDYS SOUTH CENTRAL

Long regarded as Progressive Labour Party territory, Sandys South Central was won again at the 2007 General Election by Government MP Walter Lister, who defeated Sarah Burrows of the United Bermuda Party by 649 votes to 284.

In 2003, Mr. Lister comfortably won a three-horse race, claiming 582 votes to UBP candidate Ed Bailey's 251 and the National Liberal Party's Graeme Outerbridge's 41.
